Our employees may proudly claim that they are participants of the huge apparatus providing crude oil to the World. We are working on satisfying the requirements associated with the Asset Development of an American Multinational Oil Company, Shevron-Texaco.
On this web page, we introduce you our job sites to be found on one of the largest oil fields of the Earth, the one in the region of Tengiz, Kazakhstan, and the life and work conditions there.

Like many other oil fields, the one in Tengiz is also to be found in an area with extreme climatic conditions. For this reason, our new entrants shall undergo a profound medical examination. As part of the medical examination, the complete necessary inoculation is also administered to those travelling to the work site. It is only healthy colleagues that may travel, as we consider it our mutual interest that our employees can perform their professional tasks without health and other problems and that nothing may hinder them in reaching an income as high as possible. Of course, the requirement connected with the health status does not mean that critical conditions prevail in Tengiz in this aspect. Whenever necessary, the excellently equipped local hospital of the American companies attends to our employees without limitation and free of charge. In emergency situations, we bring home anybody within the shortest possible time. It belongs here that every colleague of ours receives healthy bottled water in unlimited quantities.
Our employees travel by airplane. Our company pays for all the travel costs from taking off at Ferihegy to returning back there. At the moment, the air travel to and from Kazakhstan, is organized via Istanbul, Turkey. When travelling to Kazakhstan, colleagues spend one night in the Turkish metropolis in hotels booked in advance. The hotel takes care of airport transfer in both direction. From Istanbul, our employees arrive at the international Airport of Atyrau, the extraordinarily dynamically developing Oil Industry Capital of Kazakhstan. Here, the Hungarian employee of our Company helps in settling visa matters and other possible formalities. The transit hotel of our Company operates next to the Airport, where travelers have a short rest before mounting the buses for travelling further. On the way back, in order to reach the airplane safely, colleagues spend the night in this hotel before flying home.
Our dwelling-camp in Tengiz lies in 310 km from Atyrau. An air-conditioned bus is provided for the travel.
Our dwelling-camp consists of well-isolated buildings adapted to the climatic conditions. The apartments of the buildings have 2 to 3 rooms and every modern convenience (separate bathroom and separate toilet). In winter, they are remote-heated, in summer, each room has an own air-conditioner to ensure an agreeable climate. Maximum 2 people live in one room. Bed-clothes, towels, their washing and replacement are provided by the Company. Laundries equipped with automatic washing-machines are also available for everybody.
Every room has a TV set. The TV network of the camp delivers the programs of Duna TV and MTV2, as well as the programs of several Russian and Kazakh TV stations. Our own studio also provides Hungarian-speaking movies in the evening hours.
For keeping in touch with the relatives at home, there are two telephone booths suited for international calls in the camp territory. The field strength is excellent in the territory of the camp for the use of mobile phones. Several work sites have Internet connection, so E-mail-sending is also possible.
Our canteen operates within the boundaries of the camp, offering bountiful (suited to the needs of blue-collar workers), warm food three times a day, prepared according to the Hungarian taste. The meal of all three occasions in the day include several courses. Special attention is paid to the fact that the diet should regularly contain dairy products, vegetables, fruits and sweets. On working-days, lunch is served in canteens near the work sites.
Whoever wishes to have something else, the shops of the residential area near our camp offer the wished for products. Every Sunday, our company runs free-of-charge bus lines to the market place of the nearby city where, apart from food products, all kinds of other goods are also available at prices more favorable than those of the residential area located near the camp.
In the field of consuming alcoholic drinks, international and internal regulations stricter than average prevail. These can be concisely characterized like this: everyone has to be sober by the start of the shift.
In our dwelling-camp, a gymnasium is at the disposal of those who wish to deal with sports (minor football-ground, volleyball, basketball, table tennis). There is also a sauna to complete recreation opportunities. A swimming-pool is operated in the American camp which is available for our employees, as well. Anglers can also exercise their hobby.
Both the American Client and our Company also, continuously pay great attention to work safety. As early as on the first working-day, every employee of ours receives the protective garment and equipment also meeting the requirements of the American Client. Work may only be started after several phases of work safety training. These courses are held in our own training center, in Hungarian language.
